VDDS Membership
The Vancouver & District Dental Society (VDDS) is a non-profit organization located in the city of Vancouver BC that serves the Greater Vancouver dental community and beyond. Established in 1908, it is the oldest and largest dental component society in the province.
VDDS offers a variety of memberships and is open to dentists, assistants, hygienists, office staff, lab technicians, dental therapists and denturists.
The purpose of the society is to: 1) provide its members with opportunities for quality continuing dental education; 2) foster fraternal relationships; 3) provide a forum for discussion and support; and 4) encourage its members to continually strive for higher standards of excellence in dental practice.
VDDS is recognized by the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP) and offers over 35 hours of CE credit hours per season, enough to fulfill requirements for a three year cycle of dental continuing education. VDDS CE courses are open to all oral health professionals, also available on an individual non-membership basis.
